We named her Stella. She changed our lives. We have no idea how old she is (we think 6?). Despite having to have 11 teeth pulled (due to a previous terrible diet of mostly human junkfood), despite having to be shaved down because she was so matted and suffering from a skin disease, and despite being terrified after having had a series of humans abuse and abandon her, she embraced us and took to her new life with a gusto that is absolutely remarkable. Today she is thriving. She is happy, healthy, and SO excited to wake up every morning that she can’t help but dance. Seriously. She dances with joy every morning when she gets out of bed.
